| Customer Reviews: Didn't fool anyone August 13, 2006 gordo_aka_thegrunter (San Francisco, CA USA) 1 out of 15 found this review helpful
I have a neighbor who helps me out a lot with things in my life. Recently, I was at the grocery store, just buying things when a man walked up to me, pointed two fingers at my face and said something I didn't understand, it wasn't in English anyway. Well, it certainly seemed like a curse to me, so I just left my grocery cart right there and ran (I literally left my car in the parking lot, I wasn't going to risk driving) back home to tell my neighbor. She has helped me out a lot in the past when things weren't going my way and I guess you could say she does some type of spells to make things better. In the past her spells have always worked. Anyway, the second I told her about this guy in the grocery store her eyes widened and she wrote out this list of things that I must do. One of the things she said was to take a live chicken and bleed it, then smear the blood on my front door. To tell you the truth, I wasn't about to do this, curse or not, it just seems cruel. I don't even know where to buy a live chicken! Well, I told my neighbor I would go ahead and do the things on her list, most of the things were pretty easy. Well, to substitute for the chicken blood I tried this. I used the whole tube. I pretty much knew it didn't look like the real thing. It was kind of goopy and not runny. The next day I saw my neighbor in the front yard and she just rolled her eyes at me. She didn't even ask what I did and she didn't have to. I knew what she was thinking, she told me I had the "knowledge" in the past. This blood would work well for a child's costume, but not much else. Luckily, the other things on the list must have worked well enough because nothing bad has happened since the curse. At least yet. Next time though, I'm going to buy some blood from the local meat shop.
decent blood June 14, 2006 acapulco 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I need some blood for my movies and this will due. It's realistic but a bit off-color and way too thick. When you put some on you it doesn't act at all like real blood, as it is thick and gooey and goes slowly down your skin. It will look good in my movie however. Don't buy this to fool someone into thinking you're actually bleeding or anything, it probably won't work.
